Mixers

Submersible mixers are based on the same construction technology as all other submersible Flygt products. The submersible motor, seals, hub and hydraulic components are combined to form a compact unit in a modular construction. The mixer design allows for high hydraulic efficiency, resulting in significant energy savings. Submersible mixers are available in a wide variety of versions to meet the needs of different applications: AISI 316 and AISI 304 stainless steel. The propellers are available in AISI 316 stainless steel and high-chromium white cast iron. The guide rings, made of stainless steel, increase the hydrodynamic efficiency and regularity of the generated flow. Flygt mixer motors, designed to work with all normal distribution networks, are suitable for heavy-duty and continuous service and are suitable for use in liquids up to 90°C. They can also be used in environments where explosion-proof protection is required and can be installed even in full tanks. A new version of the 4650 mixer with LSPM (line started permanent magnet) motor is available. These motors create the magnetic field of the rotor both through magnets and induction and operate with higher efficiency and power capacity but lower temperature and current consumption thanks to improved power factor.
